Después de entrevistar a Custo Dalmau en el backstage de su desfile en NYFW tenemos mucho que contarles. Light Years fue el nombre de la más reciente colección que el diseñador español presentó durante este New York Fashion Week. La colección tuvo cerca de 70 looks, de los cuales 50 fueron propuestos para mujer y la diferencia fue la propuesta masculina.
COLORS AND MORE COLORS…OF COURSE
Con una propuesta sumamente colorida, fresca y femenina en donde destacaron los brillos, tonos metálicos, transparencias y las telas laminadas. Esta ocasión el diseñador español propone el brillo como una opción para el día, alejándose de la idea de que los brillos y metalizados son solo para la noche y llevándolos hacia todos los tonos de la colección.
ALWAYS PUSHING
Las chaquetas largas, vestidos cortos y el volumen de los pantalones fueron resaltados en la colección gracias a la fusión de texturas, materiales y colores, aunque no le quitaron protagonismo al volumen, los cortes y aberturas asimétricas sobretodo en cintura y hombros.
GIVE ME SOME METAL
La propuesta para hombres también estuvo llena de colores brillantes y metálicos, pero equilibrados con cortes clásicos, líneas rectas y formas básicas para no sobrecargarlas. Las chaquetas largas, superposición de capas fueron, aparte del color, los principales detalles de la propuesta masculina.
