¡Hoy empezamos el Blog Camp en una de mis ciudades favoritas, Guayaquil! Y qué mejor forma de empezar esta semana que con una entrevista a 3 de las diseñadoras de las que me llevé sus piezas a mi última aventura de Fashion Week.
Ellas son: Paola Liao, Isabella Salvador y Teresa Valencia.
PAOLA LIAO
CLÁSICA Y MODERNA
Paola define su estilo como una mezcla de clásico, elegante con toques modernos y eclécticos, también nos cuenta que la naturaleza es una de sus fuentes de inspiración pero que para esta ocasión quiso darle un giro artístico con referencias del artista abstracto Yayoi Ksuma.
Nos cuenta sobre el diseño de su “suit” que para ella refleja elegancia con poder chic. El diseño cuenta con cortes rectos y asimétricos, manteniendo la versatilidad para diferentes looks. Para darle un toque «edgy» a su diseño nos aconseja mantener la simplicidad pero completándolo con una prenda fuera de lo común que se convierta en el statement piece de tu outfit.
ISABELLA SALVADOR
Con un estilo elegante, femenino y timeless, Isabella Salvador busca resaltar la silueta femenina y sus atributos. Ella, encuentra su principal inspiración en los viajes que hace, en sus propias palabras “cada lugar que visitas te envuelve con su historia, contada a través de sus colores, su cultura: vestuario, arquitectura, pasado y presente”.
Sobre su “dress suit” tiene una silueta en “A” con cuello en “V”, acompañado de sesgos, bolsillos clásicos y tablones en la parte inferior; todos estos detalles le dan un giro femenino al clásico “suit”. Nos aconseja complementar su diseño con unos stilettos, una cartera elegante, el cabello recogido y una dosis de actitud y personalidad.
TERESA VALENCIA
Los diseños de Teresa son cómodos, con un toque clásico en colores llanos y fuertes que realcen la personalidad de quién los usa. Sus últimos diseños vienen inspirados en la realeza y «la princesa que cada mujer lleva dentro.»
Para ella, al pensar en un “suit” se le viene a la mente algo ejecutivo y versátil. Para darle un toque extra y complementarlo nos dice que siempre funciona un kimono que sea versátil. Nos confiesa que para sus diseños del próximo año se ha atrevido a crear sus propios estampados por lo que serán modelos realmente exclusivos.
