¿Qué sería de nuestras películas favoritas sin sus respectivos vestuarios? El cine y la moda han sido mejores amigos desde SIEMPRE. ¡Es por eso que hoy llega una entrevista muy especial para aquellos que no se pierden ni un solo detalle del cine nacional! Estamos hablando de Mariana Andrade, uno de los nombres más sonados si hablamos de gestión cultural en la ciudad de Quito. Con más de 30 años en esta actividad, dos de sus facetas más importantes han sido su paso por la secretaría de Cultura en el Municipio de Quito durante los primeros 8 meses de la gestión del actual alcalde, y la dirección del Cine Ochoymedio ubicado en La Floresta. A continuación les presentamos un poco de Mariana Andrade y su papel dentro del ámbito cultural ecuatoriano.
Sin olvidar que ha sido productora de varias de las películas nacionales de mayor impacto como: Más allá del mal, La Tigra, Entre Marx y una mujer desnuda, Blak Mama, entre más. Sus varios proyectos independientes de cine han dado gran apertura a diferentes personajes dentro de ese medio para exhibir sus proyectos y visiones. Estos espacios generados por Mariana han sido reconocidos por dar apertura a diferentes movimientos y tipos de artes, especialmente el cine nacional independiente.
